Our rescue is entirely foster-based. This means that we do not have a central location where all of our dogs are kept. All of our dogs are cared for in foster homes- where they are treated like family members, given medical attention, taught house manners, and given a chance to decompress from shelter life. In order to continue to pull dogs from high-kill shelters, House of Hope requires willing foster homes!! Not only do our fosters provide the physical space for us to house dogs, they also allow us to learn about our dogs’ personalities, likes/dislikes, and what kind of family they would fit in with best – all of this information helps our dogs get adopted.
We provide necessary food, medication, crates, and other supplies needed to care for a foster dog, and you provide the space, love, and time! Fostering is fun, rewarding, temporary, and is a great way to help support our mission from your own home! If you want to join our foster family, fill out the form to the left and one of our volunteers will be in touch with you soon!
